On October 27, at the 2021 China Artificial Intelligence Computing Conference, Wang Endong, academician of the Chinese Academy of engineering and chief scientist of Inspur Group, said that artificial intelligence has brought exponential growth in computing power demand, and the computing industry is facing the trend and challenge of diversification, voluminousness and ecological discretization. On the one hand, diversified intelligent scenarios need diversified computing power, and huge models, data and application scale need huge computing power. Computing power has become the top priority for the continuous development of artificial intelligence; On the other hand, there is still a huge gap in the transformation from chip to computing power, and the value of multiple computing power has not been fully released. How to quickly complete the innovation from multi chip to computing system has become a key link to promote the development of artificial intelligence industry.
