As the travel peak is approaching, Tencent intelligent transportation, Tencent map, Tencent Research Institute, Tencent location service and Tencent automatic driving, together with the traffic administration bureau of Guangdong Provincial Public Security Department, based on Tencent traffic digital base, conducted multi-dimensional space-time analysis and calculation for the desensitized traffic travel and location service big data, and wrote and released the traffic forecast report for Guangdong National Day holiday in 2021, Provide travel reference for users.
The forecast shows that the peak of national high-speed outbound congestion during the Eleventh National Day will be between 9:00 and 12:00 on October 1, the peak will appear around 11:00, and the second wave of outbound peak will be ushered in the morning of October 2. Compared with the high concentration of high-speed trips, it is expected that there will be multiple small congestion peaks between October 5 and October 6. The highest peak will appear around 16:00 on October 5, and then gradually flatten out.
During the peak period from September 30 to October 1, local sections of Changshen expressway, Guangkun expressway, Xuguang Expressway and shencen Expressway in Guangdong Province are prone to congestion. The specific situation is shown in the figure below.
During the return peak period from October 5 to October 6, some sections of shencen expressway, Xuguang expressway, Daguang Expressway, Guanghe Expressway and Guangkun expressway are the hardest hit areas of congestion, as shown in the figure below.
In terms of inter provincial transportation, the inflow and outflow of Guangdong Province during the National Day are mainly concentrated in Hunan, Guangxi and Jiangxi.
The personnel flow of Dawan district urban agglomeration will be mainly concentrated in several cities such as Guangzhou, Foshan, Shenzhen and Dongguan. Most of the trips in the province choose automobile passenger transportation, and a small amount of railway transportation.
Specific to cities, during the national day, Guangzhou citizens prefer to travel in Foshan, Qingyuan and Dongguan. Shenzhen citizens like to take a walk in Dongguan, Huizhou and Guangzhou.
In terms of inter provincial travel, the popular travel destinations of Guangzhou citizens are Ganzhou, Chenzhou and Hengyang. Shenzhen citizens prefer Ganzhou, Chenzhou and Changsha. Jiangxi, Hunan and Guangshen seem to have a special fate.
In terms of railway passenger transport, the busiest railway stations in Dawan district were concentrated in Guangzhou and Shenzhen during the 11th National Day. Large railway hubs such as Guangzhou south railway station, Shenzhen North railway station, Guangzhou east railway station and Shenzhen east railway station will face great passenger flow pressure. The peak passenger flow will appear from 15:00 to 19:00 on September 30 and from 10:00 to 17:00 on October 1. Passengers shall plan in advance to travel off peak or reserve enough time for security check at the station.
In terms of air passenger transport, Guangzhou Baiyun Airport, Shenzhen Bao’an airport, Zhuhai Jinwan airport and Jieyang Chaoshan airport will all usher in the peak passenger flow in the afternoon of September 30. Passengers should pay special attention to the congestion around the airport and make travel planning in advance.
In addition, Nan’ao ecotourism area, Guangzhou Changlong tourism resort and Baiyun Mountain scenic spot will become the three most popular scenic spots in Guangdong Province. The passenger flow is expected to peak on October 2.
In terms of popular business districts, the top three business districts with passenger flow will be Longhua business district in Shenzhen, Shajing business district and Xinshi business district in Guangzhou. The passenger flow of the business district is high at the beginning and end of the holiday and flat in the middle.
