BiliBili’s Q4 and annual financial report in 2020: annual revenue of 12 billion yuan, up 77% year on year

On February 25, Beijing time (February 24, EDT), NASDAQ: Bili released its unaudited financial report for the fourth quarter and the whole year ending December 31, 2020. According to the financial report, the total revenue of BiliBili (hereinafter referred to as “station B”) in fiscal year 2020 reached 12 billion yuan, up 77% year on year. Among them, the fourth quarter revenue increased 91% year-on-year to 3.84 billion yuan, far exceeding market expectations.
In 2020, whether it’s user growth, community ecology or business development, station B will end up with a series of record results. In the fourth quarter, the average monthly active users of station B increased by 55% to 202 million, and the average monthly active users of mobile terminal increased by 61% to 187 million. High quality user growth has laid a solid foundation for the rapid development of commercialization. Driven by a large number of high-quality content, the average monthly paid users in this quarter reached 17.9 million, with a year-on-year high-speed growth of 103%. The overall payment rate also reached a new high, rising from 6.8% in the same period of last year to 8.9% in the current quarter, and the gross profit margin achieved a month on month growth of 24.6% for seven consecutive quarters.
