However, from the perspective of the new technologies shown by various companies, it seems that there is not much innovation in the black technology related to the automotive field in this CES, and the bright products we are looking forward to have not appeared.
Eliminate entity buttons, Mercedes Benz displays 1.41M super wide curved screen

At this CES exhibition, Mercedes Benz has brought a new generation of human-computer interaction system – super wide screen mbux hyperscreen, with a width of 1.41 meters, which is the largest free-form surface screen of Mercedes Benz so far.
Mbux hyperscreen is equipped with 8-core processor, 24g memory and 12 sensors. According to the official introduction, the system adopts artificial intelligence and machine learning technology, and can actively display the personalized functions set by the car owner according to the car owner’s habits. Car owners can also add function options in the main interface of the screen, or hide functions that are not commonly used.
The system consists of three seamless independent screens without physical buttons. The three touch screens all adopt OLED technology. Through the independent luminous pixels, the screen can have a high contrast display effect under any viewing angle and light conditions, eliminating the visual blind area. In addition, to solve the problem of super large screen reflection, Mercedes Benz added two special coatings in the glass panel.
The system will be first installed on Mercedes Benz’s flagship electric car EQS in 2022. EQS is the first model built by Mercedes Benz based on pure electric EVA platform, and its driving range is expected to exceed 700 km.

Mercedes Benz said that this intelligent system can evaluate the map data and the surrounding environment, and provide interesting landmark information for car owners along the way. For example, when a driver or passenger drives past a place, he or she can simply ask, “Hey, Mercedes, can you tell me about this building?” Or, “Hey, Mercedes, what’s the name of the restaurant on the left?” Then the relevant information will be displayed on the driver’s or passenger’s respective display screen, and the on-board voice assistant will also explain through voice.

According to the official introduction, the new car is based on the high-performance pure electric platform J1 jointly developed by Audi and Porsche and is expected to be launched in the first quarter of 2021. This high-performance electric sports car will have super high-speed 5g wireless network.
In terms of power, Audi RS e-tron GT will be equipped with a dual motor power system, with a maximum power of 694 HP, a maximum torque of 830 nm, and an acceleration time of 3.5 s from 0 to 96 km / h. Mobileye releases new lidar chip

This chip is built with Intel’s self-developed silicon manufacturing technology, which can realize the integration of active and passive lidar components in one chip. The advantage of this is that the manufacturing cost is greatly reduced and the manufacturing process of lidar is simplified.
Based on this, Mobileye will launch a new software defined radar system. The lidar sensor based on the above technology will be carried on the Mobileye automatic driving fleet in 2025.
At present, the mobile eye automatic driving test fleet is expanding. It is expected to take to the streets of Detroit, Tokyo, Shanghai, Paris and New York early this year.
In addition, Mobileye also announced that its crowdsourced high-precision mapping technology, road network information management (REM), can assist in the automatic drawing of world maps, drawing nearly 8 million kilometers per day. So far, Mobileye has drawn nearly 1 billion kilometers of high-precision maps using the above technologies.
