At this CES exhibition, Mercedes Benz has brought a new generation of human-computer interaction system – super wide screen mbux hyperscreen, with a width of 1.41 meters, which is the largest free-form surface screen of Mercedes Benz so far.
Mbux hyperscreen is equipped with 8-core processor, 24g memory and 12 sensors. According to the official introduction, the system adopts artificial intelligence and machine learning technology, and can actively display the personalized functions set by the car owner according to the car owner’s habits. Car owners can also add function options in the main interface of the screen, or hide functions that are not commonly used.
The system consists of three seamless independent screens without physical buttons. The three touch screens all adopt OLED technology. Through the independent luminous pixels, the screen can have a high contrast display effect under any viewing angle and light conditions, eliminating the visual blind area. In addition, to solve the problem of super large screen reflection, Mercedes Benz added two special coatings in the glass panel.
The system will be first installed on Mercedes Benz’s flagship electric car EQS in 2022. EQS is the first model built by Mercedes Benz based on pure electric EVA platform, and its driving range is expected to exceed 700 km.

Mercedes Benz said that this intelligent system can evaluate the map data and the surrounding environment, and provide interesting landmark information for car owners along the way. Based on this, Mobileye will launch a new software defined radar system. The lidar sensor based on the above technology will be carried on the Mobileye automatic driving fleet in 2025.
