Crazy chip training class: “take four months to get 300000 annual salary”

“Core tips”
The chip industry continues to rise, chip talents are scarce, and training institutions take the opportunity to fill the position to deliver practical talents for the industry. Envy chip high pay people, began to rush into the training class, just to get a chip industry “admission ticket.”.

Chip boom, chip training class began to burst into flames, a new air outlet is taking off.
On October 22, Nanjing integrated circuit University officially unveiled, causing a stir in the industry. According to the white paper of talents in China integrated circuit industry (2019-2020 Edition), it is estimated that the gap of chip talents will be around 200000 by 2022.
At present, the chip entrepreneurship boom is rising, and the Internet factories are also recruiting chip talents with high salary. At a time, chip engineers have become a hot spot.
Once silent chip training class, began to import technical talents to the industry, a large number of students rushed into the training class, want to get a chip industry “admission”.
Double the number of students
Training institutions can’t be busy
Lu sang, founder of Luke verification, can’t imagine that there will be so many people who report to the training class this year.
Two years ago, the road science validation training class started for the first time, with only 30 students enrolled. After that, two periods will be opened in one year, which are divided into spring class and autumn class. The students will increase 20-30 students each period, and the growth has been relatively stable.
In autumn class 2020, 160 people have signed up before the class starts, which has exceeded the previous number of applicants. After the shift, there were people who were constantly in the shift. Lu San expects 300 students to enroll in the autumn class, twice as many as the spring class.
IC test network, which specializes in packaging testing training, also found that after the Huawei sanctions came out, the demand for packaging testing personnel in China increased.
From 2014, the students under the IC test network have been stable in each phase of 10. In 2019, before the IC test network started, students asked about the course, and then the number of applicants increased by five times. This year, they taught 120 students, three times the total number of students in the past four years.
After the summer vacation in 2020, e-course network, the largest training institution in the industry, has entered the line and entered universities to announce and speak. Founder Lai linhui can feel that the chip heat spread in Colleges and universities. Every time they go to a university, they are enjoyed by the school and teachers.
After the announcement, the organization will collect interested students and form a recruitment group. At present, there are more than 20 such groups.
Lailinhui also told leopard change that in 2019, e-course network recruited 1400 deep trainees, and it is expected to reach 1800-2000 students in 2020, with an increase of about 30%.
A large number of students sign up and the training class begins to expand.
By 2021, Lu San expects that the students who will be verified by Luka will exceed 800 people, and the expansion plan of the whole team will be fully advanced by one year.
IC test network also found that students’ learning needs have grown too fast, and they are ready to open new colleges in cities such as Guangzhou next year.
Li told leopard change that for e-course network, the most important thing is to expand the enrollment scale. They hope that the depth of the students will be expanded to 10000 people a year, and it will take 3-5 years.
With the chip fever rising, Lai also received an invitation from training institutions to participate in the chip training industry, “they do it themselves, or cooperate with us.”
More and more people are looking at the chip to train the track.
500000 high pay temptation
Non science class students rush into the training class
One of the big reasons for the surge in the number of students enrolled in the training courses is that non science class people are beginning to rush into the chip industry.
Wang Yue lurks in a recruiting group of chip training institutions.
A few months ago, she heard friends talk about a physics student who studied chips in the institution and four months later found a job with a monthly salary of 14, 000.
Wang Yue is an optical undergraduate of 211 university. The salary of the new student of optics major is less than 10000.
After Huawei sanctions, Wang often brushes the chip news. But she didn’t expect that the chip industry was paid so much. Recently, a group chat from Wang yuebrush said that “doctor level 17 has been 600000 +” last year. The salary of the next doctoral student of optics is about 300000.
After learning about chip salary, Wang Yue felt more and more, “if I can have this salary, I will be satisfied.”
Wang Yue made two-hand preparation, while lurking in the training class, while preparing for examination and research. She has won the attention of Xi’an University of electronic technology and Fudan University, both of which are the first-class micro electronics universities. And training class, Wang Yue plans to report no matter how, so that can enter the line faster.
Led by Wang Yue, her roommate was ready to change.
In 2020, 30% of the students who have been verified by the Department of road science will be non science students.
Non science students who studied in the training class are optimistic about the chip industry, and think that “choice is more important than hard work” The best bet for this sentence is high pay. In the first tier cities, chip verification engineers who have worked for 5 years are paid around 500000.
In autumn 2020, the average salary of the industry rose again. It is not uncommon for the new students to get the annual salary of 400000 yuan and 500000 yuan directly. In the chip companies with high bid, 300000 yuan is just the starting price. In the second tier cities with a per capita salary of less than 10000, ZTE offers 17.5k monthly salary in Wuhan and 17k in Changsha.
The temptation to pay is the most direct for the students.
Training institutions will also give the students “chicken blood.”. In the enrollment promotion, some institutions post the advertisement of “4 months from Xiaobai to 300000 yuan per year”, “offer will be found in 2 months” and “no job refund in 6 months”.
Under such temptation, 20000 yuan of tuition fees are very cheap. A successful student said, “it doesn’t matter if you can pay more money, as long as you can transfer. It’s the only chance. ”
6% pass rate
Chip is higher than the imaginary threshold
After completing the class report, Li Jiangang decided to take out his savings and report to the shift for verification after two years of test. Although it is the same chip industry, the salary of sealing measurement is much lower than that of design and verification.
Li Jian tried to study himself, but he had few materials and was difficult. After considering three more, he decided to report to the class. After studying for a month, Li Jian has no great confidence in becoming a teacher.

Because of the lack of electronic knowledge, it is difficult for him to understand the content of the class. In class, Li Jian hardly asked questions. Soon he found that all the students were the same, and the learning progress mainly depended on repeatedly brushing videos at home.
Lu Sang also told Bao Bian that before determining the training, the road department should verify and screen the background of the enrolled students, comprehensively consider the major, school, foundation, length of study every day, and whether they are willing to consider the transition to big cities. If the probability of changing careers is less than 50%, they will not be recommended to change careers, and one person will be screened out from every 10 people.
They will also actively give the students preventive injections, “this is not 9 yuan, 9 learn Python”, hope that students will be fully prepared, but every year, only 60% of the students have reached the standard, and 40% need to re learn.
On, students have 90% passing rate, but Lai linhui also told Bao Bian that the salary of students’ employment is not as high as expected. Graduation from the training class is more like getting a ticket to the industry. The success or failure after that depends on the individual.
Another problem is the teacher. Li Jian can feel that the quality of the lecturers in the training class is uneven. On the first class, the teacher said very simple, after changing people, he can still detect that another teacher is the first class. Li Jian also happened to find that the head teacher of the next class was only 25 years old, “have you graduated from graduate school?” Li Jian wants to ask.
This is also a concern for roussean.
In the past two years, Lu sang will add wechat to each student, and in the medium term, visit the students’ learning progress. When the number of students is increasing, he is not able to do it.
Lu sang wants to recruit new teachers, but the dilemma is that the salary of a full-time senior engineer is beyond the scope of the organization’s tolerance, and there are not many projects willing to work part-time. Moreover, part-time teachers can not systematically sort out their own training system and continuously output.
An employee of an AI chip company told Bao Bian that the company would have some aversion to trainees when recruiting. The main reason is that the interviewer found that the resume of the trainees was the same, which seemed to apply the template. However, after in-depth inquiry, the knowledge they learned was limited.
A senior chip engineer also revealed that his colleagues had criticized the trainees for being not active, not taking the initiative and lacking the ability to solve problems.
However, Lai linhui also often tells enterprises to treat them equally, and not to compare new professional students with experienced engineers, “after all, I still know something about it and can use it directly.”
Lu Sang also hopes that the industry’s attitude towards the training courses is not negative. In order to make the trainees stand out in the interview, the basic V2 course has been upgraded to incorporate higher-level content.
In 2018, among the 8.2 million graduates nationwide, only 2.6% of the graduates graduated from the chip industry, and only 12% of the graduates entered the industry. The shortage of chip talents has been mentioned repeatedly after Huawei was sanctioned.
Chip expert Wei Shaojun gave advice, “we should encourage a group of people who are not engaged in integrated circuits to transform to integrated circuits, and increase on-the-job training of enterprises.”
To some extent, the training course is speeding up the process. With the rise of IC to a first-class discipline and the establishment of Nanjing University of integrated circuits, the chip industry is also sounding the clarion call of talent training.
