The assets of the late Samsung chairman Li Jianxi increased more than 76 times during his term of office


According to the statistics released by score, the CEO of South Korea enterprise evaluation website, on the 28th, the total assets of SamSung group increased by more than 76 times and more than 790 trillion won (about RMB 4.7 trillion yuan) during his term of office, making it the largest among the top ten enterprise groups in South Korea, Yonhap reported.
Specifically, from 1987 to 2019, when Li Jianxi took office, Samsung’s total assets increased from 10 trillion won to 803 trillion won, and sales volume increased from nearly 10 trillion won to 315 trillion won, with an increase of 76.2 times and 30.77 times, respectively. Over the same period, the number of subsidiaries increased from 37 to 59.
As for other large groups, from 2000 to 2020, the assets of Hyundai Motor Group, which was separated from Hyundai Group, increased from 38 trillion won to 252 trillion won from 2000 to 2020, and the total assets of the company increased from 28 trillion won in 1994 to 123 trillion won in 2017.
