Zoom stops Chinese user registration and no longer accepts individual users to purchase its services

From May 1, the personal free user has been unable to initiate the meeting, but can join the meeting. Only paid corporate accounts, or personal accounts upgraded to paid versions, can initiate meetings.
Information on the company’s Chinese website shows that in the future, only enterprises that have provided enterprise registration certificates and enterprise bank accounts can purchase their services, and “no longer accept the purchase of individual users”.
Famous universities such as Zhejiang University and Tsinghua University are using zoom to provide online courses for students. Jingdong, Ctrip and oppo are also customers of the company. (Yueheng)
