Interim Performance of Hunting and Employment in 2019: Revenue of 712 million yuan increased by 23.1% over the same period.

In the evening of August 20, Sina Technological News reported that Hunting and Employment issued a mid-term performance announcement for the six months ended June 30, 2019. The six-month earnings (including those from providing talent acquisition services and professional employment services to business customers) as of June 30, 2019 were 712 million yuan, an increase of 23.1% over the previous year.
According to the announcement, its gross profit was RMB 570 million yuan, an increase of 17.9% over the previous year, and its net profit was RMB 70.4 million yuan, an increase of 1,374.9% over the previous year.
The announcement shows that shareholders’equity should account for 92.2 million yuan of non-generic accounting standards (excluding share-based remuneration expenditure), an increase of 50.4% over the same period last year.
The announcement said that the cost of revenue was 142 million yuan, an increase of 49.6% over the previous year. The percentage increase of revenue-cost is higher than that of revenue-cost. The main reason is that customers prefer to use closed-loop services and result-oriented products, which results in the change of product mix and the increase of project expenditure and headhunter-related costs.
According to the announcement, the number of registered individual users increased from 43.2 million on June 30, 2018 (average salary is RMB 155,204 yuan) to 51 million on June 30, 2019 (average salary is RMB 176,062 yuan). The income from individual users is RMB 37.4 million, mainly due to the increase of products provided to registered individual users.
