On the morning of August 3, the 2019 Global Competition Conference was held at Jiali Hotel in Pudong, Shanghai. At the meeting, Yu Xiufen, Director-General of Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, issued the “Standards for the Construction of Electric Competition Venues” and “Standards for the Operation and Service of Electric Competition Venues”.
These two standards are compiled by Shanghai Electronic Sports Association, Shanghai Online Game Industry Association and Shanghai Internet Public Internet Service Industry Association. They are theoretical, planning and forward-looking. The standard combines the requirements of laws, regulations and other normative documents as well as the need to organize various kinds of electronic competitive events.
The Code for the Construction of Electric Competition Venues is applicable to permanent and temporary electric competition venues which are open to the public. It is necessary to use this code in the construction, renovation and reconstruction of venues. At the same time, the standard divides the electric stadium into four grades: A, B, C and D. The “Standard for Operational Services of Electric Competition Venues” stipulates seven items, including service equipment and facilities, personnel requirements, safety management requirements and so on.
The two standards of “Standards for the Construction of Electric Competition Stadiums” and “Standards for the Operation and Service of Electric Competition Stadiums” are an integral part of Shanghai’s construction of “Global Electric Competition Capital”. Shanghai’s electronic competitive industry will achieve efficient and high-quality development along the standardized track.
